10 fully equipped conference rooms ranging from 8 to 30 seats across Floors 1–5

Overview

Conference rooms in the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine building are designed for professional meetings, small-group teaching sessions, video conferences, and committee work. All rooms include integrated AV systems with wireless screen sharing and are certified for Zoom and Microsoft Teams conferencing.

Faculty, staff, and authorized research groups may reserve conference rooms through the online scheduling portal up to four weeks in advance. Rooms may not be used for personal activities, tutoring for pay, or events unaffiliated with the University.

How to Reserve

  1. Log in at rooms.utah.eduUse your uNID and CIS password. Conference rooms are only available to faculty, staff, and authorized research staff.
  2. Choose "Conference Room" as the space typeFilter by floor, capacity, and required features (e.g., Zoom certified, recording capability).
  3. Select your date and durationConference rooms can be booked in 1-hour blocks, up to 8 hours per day. Multi-day bookings are supported.
  4. Specify setup needsNote if you need AV tech support, specific room layout (classroom, U-shape, rounds), or accessibility accommodations.
  5. Submit and confirmYou'll receive an email confirmation and a calendar invitation to share with attendees.

Use Policies

Conference Room Policy Highlights
  • Available to UoU faculty, staff, and authorized research personnel only.
  • Maximum 8 hours per day per group; back-to-back same-day bookings permitted.
  • Rooms must be vacated within 10 minutes of reservation end time.
  • Food and beverages are permitted; space must be left clean. Catering for formal events requires pre-approval.
  • Cancel at least 4 hours in advance to avoid a no-show record.
  • Divisible rooms (CR-340, CR-460) must be reserved in their entirety or as designated half-rooms only.
